Shellharbour crash investigated – driver walks to hospital

Police investigations are underway after serious crash in Shellharbour.

At about 10.15 last night, a car was travelling east on Lake Entrance Road, when it left the road and hit a power pole, the 27 year old female driver freed herself from the vehicle, and walked a short distance to Shellharbour Hospital, with the rear passenger a 2 year old boy.

The woman was taken to St George Hospital with non-life-threatening internal injuries, while the child was taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital with a fractured leg.
