Ute found on fire on Memorial Drive, Woonona | Illawarra Mercury

An abandoned ute has gone up in flames in a pre-dawn fire at Woonona. An ambulance crew en route to another job spotted the fire’s glow from behind a noise barrier on Memorial Drive just before 4.20am Wednesday, and went to investigate. The blaze was extinguished by firefighters by 4.46am. The ute was unoccupied at the time; there are no related injuries.
